バンダイからロボットではなく人間にフォーカスしたシリーズ、GMGの最新としてジオン兵士が登場。なんと、特定キャラとしてシャアが製品化される。コロニーに潜入するシャアと部下たちの情景をジオラマで組みたい人は注目の商品だ。2021年9月発売で予約受付中。

タミヤの戦争シリーズで良くあるが、兵士たちのプラモデルを組み合わせて戦場の情景を作ることがある。昔は流行ったが今はどうなのだろう。その流れを汲む、ジオン軍の日常の場面を切り出したジオラマを作ることができる。
例えばこんな感じだ。
GMGジオン軍兵士
全高10cm程度の1/18の人間の模型が3種類。１つはシャア、あとはノーマルスーツを着た男女だ。オプションパーツとして、シャアはナバン62式拳銃と白兵戦用小銃をはじめ、無反動ライフル、カップ、メモ、差し替え用頭部が付属。
ほかの2体には、ナバン62式拳銃と白兵戦用小銃をはじめ、バズーカ、ハーネス、差し替え用頭部等が付属。
3体はばらばらの商品だが、3つ揃えることで、連邦軍に潜入するシーンを作ることができるボーナスパーツがそろう。それは、時限爆弾と爆弾ケース、岩、ハシゴ、リフトジェット、ノートパソコン、アタッシュケース、食糧セット、クーラーボックス、ワイヤー、フックだ。これらを駆使すると、ジオン軍の日常を作ることができる。
GMGがプラモデルと異なるのは全身可動であるので、いろいろなポーズを楽しめる。何かいいアイデアがあったら作ってみるといいだろう。
