11月末に一般公開前の報道向けの公開がされ、どのような動くガンダムなのかがわかった。

足はこのように一瞬片足立ちとなって歩みだしている。重心の移動などいろいろ考えないとできない技術なだけに圧巻だ。今回のものは展示目的のものではあるが、確実に真のモビルスーツ開発の第一歩になっていると思う。

24か所が動くそうだ。おそらく首回り、手首、肘、肩、足が中心になるので、腰回りはないのだろう。
まあそれであっても、たとえゆっくりなものであっても、昔見たガンダムが今現実のものとして動くようになったというのは圧巻だ。

当地では全長18mのガンダムを間近で見ることができる。入場料は13歳以上の大人1,650円(税込)、7歳以上の子供は1,100円。6歳以下はおとな1名につき3名まで無料。
GUNDAM-DOCK TOWERに上るとガンダム頭部を見ることができる。こちらは別料金になっており、3,300円(税込)。
スマホの公式アプリからのみ購入できるが12月はすでに完売。

ほかに5Gを使ったARによるパイロット視点のカメラ画像を見ることができるそうだ。
当のガンダムは、10：30-20：30まで30分ごとに演出を行う。

You can see Gundam with a total length of 18m up close here. Admission is 1650 yen (tax included) for adults 13 years and older, and 1,100 yen for children 7 years and older. Up to 3 people under 6 years old are free of charge per 1 adult.
You can see the Gundam head by climbing GUNDAM-DOCK TOWER. This is an extra charge and costs 3,300 yen (tax included).
