劇場版1作目の冒頭でいきなり登場し、以後はテレビシリーズに出ていたかな。
陸上自衛隊の空挺レイバーで、劇場版冒頭で飛行機からパラシュートで降りていく。降りた先には暴走した試作レイバーがおり、これを仕留めるために「虎の子」の空挺レイバーを出した、という話が劇中で語られる。
一般的に軍事利用できる技術はそこに予算がつぎ込まれ、どんどん進化していく。おそらくヘルダイバーはイングラム、零式と比べて技術的に進んでおり、しかもかける予算も段違いなので性能は遥かに凌駕しているだろう。
それゆえ、虎の子だ。
まずは3体の集合ポーズ。キットは1体分しかないが、3体あると作戦行動に見える。
