コロナウィルスの蔓延によるものか、ガンダムカフェが全店閉店になると発表された。
ずいぶん前、先代の動くガンダムが立っていた頃にお台場のダイバーシティにあるガンダムカフェに行ったことがある。

カフェと言いつつ、物販の店というイメージだったので思いだせなかった。
中にはうず高くガンプラが積まれ、他にはガンダムに関する商品が販売されていた。

コロナウィルス蔓延で客足が減ったせいか、あるいはインバウンドの客が減ったせいなのか、あるいはオンライン販売が順調で店で販売する意味がなくなったのか。
どういう理由かはふれられていないが閉店することになったそうだ。

GUNDAM Café TOKYO BRAND CORE、お台場店、及び福岡店は2022年1月30日（日）、
「GUNDAM SQUARE」は1月10日（月・祝）を もちまして、閉店させていただくことになりました。
※YOKOHAMA Satelliteにつきましては『GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA』の開催期間に準じて営業いたします。
多くは来年早々、横浜は動くガンダムに連動するとのこと。この年末年始がガンダムカフェに行ける最後のチャンスになりそうだ。
閉店後も動くガンダムを見た記念にガンプラを買う店があるとよいが。
物販の一部はプレミアムバンダイで購入できる。
It was announced that all Gundam Cafes will be closed, probably due to the spread of the COVID 19.
A long time ago, I went to the Gundam Cafe in Odaiba’s Diversity when the previous moving Gundam was standing.
Although it was called a cafe, I couldn’t think of it because it was an image of a store selling goods. Gunpla were piled up high inside, and other products related to Gundam were on sale.
I don’t knowthe reason why Guindam Cafe will close, but guessing the COVID 19 epidemic has reduced the number of customers, the number of inbound customers has decreased, or online sales are going well. The reason has not been mentioned.
GUNDAM Café TOKYO BRAND CORE, Odaiba store, and Fukuoka store will be closed on Sunday, January 30, 2022.
“GUNDAM SQUARE” will be closed on January 10th (Monday / holiday).
* YOKOHAMA Satellite will be open according to the period of “GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA”.
Many shops will close early next year, and Yokohama shop will be linked to the moving Gundam. This year-end and New Year holidays are likely to be the last chance to go to the Gundam Cafe.
It would be nice to have a store to buy Gunpla to commemorate seeing Gundam statue at Odaiba even after the store is closed.
