3月9日号はファーストガンダムの連邦の旧式MS、ガンタンク。

ファーストガンダムにて、ガンダムより前に作られたモビルスーツとして登場。ほかのMSと異なり、2人が登場し一人が操縦、1人が砲撃手として闘う。
ガンダム、ガンキャノンと共通でコアファイターを使っているが共通である必要性は物語上はなく、単にスポンサーの意向だったのであろう。当時のスポンサーはバンダイではなかった。

テレビではジャブローから飛び立った後、宇宙空間を飛ぶガンタンクの姿をみられたが、映画ではバッサリとカットされ、パイロットのハヤトはガンキャノンに乗ってアバオアクーになだれ込むのであった。
Zガンダム以降の話しは映画を正史として続けているので、映画版ではガンタンクはジャブロー迄の登場だった。

The book on March 9 is Guntank, the federal old-fashioned MS in First Gundam.

Appeared as a mobile suit made before Gundam at First Gundam. Unlike other MS, two people appear, one is a pilot and the other is a gunner.
Although the core fighter is used in common with Gundam and GunCannon, there is no need to share it in the story. It may have been the intention of the sponsor. The sponsor at that time was not Bandai.

After taking off from Jaburo on TV, I saw a Guntank flying in the space, but in the movie it was cut off and the pilot Hayato rode on a GunCannon.
Since the story after Z Gundam continues the movie as an official history, the Guntank ends at Jaburo .
